How to dress for every celebration

Every celebration has its own rhythm, and the right outfit lets you move through it with ease. Whether you are heading to a quiet family dinner, a friend's nikkah or a full wedding weekend, our guide breaks down what to reach for and why.

Intimate gatherings

For dinners, dholkis at home and small get-togethers, choose lighter fabrics and softer silhouettes. Our lawn and cotton co-ords are ideal: comfortable enough to sit and chat for hours, yet polished enough for photographs. Keep jewellery minimal and let the print do the talking.

Semi-formal occasions

Mehndis, engagement dinners and Eid lunches call for a touch more shimmer. Semi-formal kameez sets with subtle embroidery, mirror work or a contrasting dupatta strike the balance between festive and relaxed. Pair with block heels or embellished flats so you can dance without a second thought.

Grand celebrations

Weddings and formal receptions are the moment for our Formals collection. Heavily embellished kameez, flowing gharara or sharara trousers and richly bordered dupattas photograph beautifully under evening lights. Choose one statement piece and keep everything else understated.

A few finishing touches

  • Check the size chart on every product page. Our pieces are cut generously, so the measurements matter more than the label.
  • Steam rather than iron embellished fabrics.
  • Order early. Popular pieces and sizes sell out quickly during wedding season.
